Central Otago may seem a world away from the pomp and fuss that comes with the crowning of a new monarch, but like many we love a good “occasion”, and any excuse to get together for a bit of fun. The coronation of King Charles III is no different and on Saturday night, many put aside their personal views of the royals and gathered around the telly to watch history in the making – just so they could say “I remember when . . .”.
