Central Otago Mayor Tim Cadogan and Kirsty Gresswell, of parks contractor Delta, mark the coronation of King Charles III by planting a tree in Alexandra last Friday. The duo planted a liquid amber tree, chosen for its seasonal colour change, at Pioneer Park. The planting was part of the nationwide tree-planting initiative to acknowledge the historic occasion. A plaque will be mounted and installed beside the tree.
