Acombined century of dedication to the Omakau Domain Board has been recognised in the form of picnic tables bearing the names of the men and women involved.
The tables, recently unveiled in the domain by board chairman Ralph Milne, acknowledge the work of Sandy Wilson and Jim Jannick who were both on the board for more than 40 years.
Daphne Potbury, who was involved for more than 18 years, was also recognised, along with Joan Kinney.
They each held various roles, including chairman, secretary/ treasurer and caretaker.
Omakau resident George Booth crafted the tables and fitted all four with a plaque recognising the efforts of those who had dedicated countless hours to the board over many years.
Board secretary Colin Stevenson said the tables would help meet growing demands at the camping ground and domain, which was expecting a busy summer ahead.
