Services offered through Alexandra Community House will gradually phase back to their base under Alert Level 2 guidelines from next week. The services, designed to benefit individuals and families, have been offered off-site over the past seven weeks, due to Covid-19.
Now, as the nation slowly resumes business under a new sense of normal, the house will reopen to the public from Monday.
Manager Carole Gillions said although staff from a range of Community House services were off site during lockdown, they had still been offering support to people who required it.
“As of this coming Monday, a number of those organisations will be phasing into spending more time at Community House,” she said.
“We really encourage anyone who is looking for some sort of support at the moment to please contact us. They can come along as of Monday or phone (03) 440-0740.”
She said meeting rooms would also be available for group bookings of up to 10 people.
“We will keep increasing that as guidelines increase.”
