Tarras School pupils took to the stage during the Central Lakes Polyfest 2019, a non-competitive kapa haka and Pasifika performance.
The event, hosted by Miharo, a cultural trust based in Invercargill, took place at the Queenstown Memorial Hall.
It attracted more than 1000 children from preschool age up to teenagers.
This week’s performance by Tarras School pupils, aged 5 to 10, marked their first ever public performance for kapa haka.
They were among a range of Central Otago schools that took part.
