The latest Cromwell College sporting Roll of Honour pupils had some VIPs present at their induction ceremony this week.

Black Sticks Grace O’Hanlon, Rosie Keddell and Brooke Neal attended the special assembly during which the pupils were honoured, delighting pupils and staff alike.

Pupils must achieve a top-five national placing or represent New Zealand in their chosen sport to qualify for the honour.

This week’s ceremony honoured Lachie James (14), Ben James (12), Keeleigh Jones (17), Millie Ryan (16) and Jack King (15).

Lachie and James have achieved national top-three BMX placings, Jack excels in both road cycling and mountain biking, and Millie and Keeleigh are both national Gymsport title holders.

After the ceremony the three Black Sticks took part in a question-and-answer session with pupils, and showed off their Commonwealth Games medals.
