A group of six athletes from Dunstan High School and Cromwell College travelled to Auckland recently to compete in the championships.
Abbie Harrison, Ally Nicholls, Caitlin Staples and Lily Tierney, all of Dunstan High School, along with Keeleigh Jones and Millie Ryan, of Cromwell College, won more than 20 medals between them.
Competition was held over two days at Bruce Pulman Park in Auckland.
Sally Hart, who travelled with the team as coach, said she was extremely proud of their results in such a huge competition.
Abbie, Ally and Lily managed to win the gold medal in the team trampoline event and Ally, Lily and Keeleigh won the gold medal in the open level 4 aerobic trio, she said.
‘‘We have had excellent results in the past but this year’s results are the best ever.’’
The six girls competing together were also awarded a bronze medal for the team performance.
