Recent recruit Deacon Mark Ebbins said he joined out of “curiosity” but now enjoys the companionship, brotherhood and “being part of something that is meaningful in today’s world”.

He said Freemasonry donates millions of dollars all across the country every year and in last 14 years the Wanaka Lodge has given away $400,000 to the community.
