Youngsters throughout the region have continued to roll up their sleeves to receive their first dose of the Covid-19 jab, after it became available for 5 to 11-year-olds on January 17.

The Ministry of Health said as of January 29, more than 150,000 paediatric doses had been administered throughout the country.

In Central Otago and Wanaka, there were eight locations offering the paediatric version of the Covid-19 vaccine, with more on the way. STORY AND PHOTO: SHANNON THOMSON
