The sixth edition of the annual Teviot Valley Garage Sale Trail was held along numerous stop-offs on Saturday. Residents had the opportunity to tiki tour 47 different garage sales throughout Roxburgh and neighbouring Teviot Valley towns. Proceeds from the event went to Teviot Valley Kids Count which aids families with children who have been confronted with unexpected illnesses. Organiser Shirley Marsden said proceeds for the event reached about $4000. “Everybody is rapt – it shows how wonderful our valley is,” she said. Central Otago reporter Adam Burns eagerly followed the trail.
