Maniototo neighbours did battle on Sunday, as rivalries took over in the sixth annual Burn 729AM Maniototo Community Cup, held at the Kyeburn Community Hall.
The district was divided for the day, as rival area teams went head to head in a range of events, including a local farm guessing game, throwing toilet paper and guiding someone blindfolded through a course of obstacles.
The Kyeburn-Danseys Pass team missed out on taking the title for a third year, Naseby pulling out all the stops to be crowned the 2016 champion.
Patearoa-Styx and Gimmerburn were second equal, and Kyeburn-Danseys Pass third.
Spokeswoman Denise Baddock said the day had been a great success, and Kyeburn organised a fantastic competition.
Next year, Naseby will host the event.
