Families will have a chance to have fun and raise money all from their living room this Saturday.

This weekend, Parenting Place are hosting a nationwide Whānau Fun Night hosted by popular entertainer Pio Terei.

The online live stream will include entertainment and quizzes and is a fundraiser for the national charity.

Communications Specialist Holly Brooker said it was an opportunity for up to 2000 New Zealand families to come together during lockdown and have some fun while raising money to support vulnerable families.

Quiz questions will suit all ages so everyone in the whānau could take part; and there were prizes for the winning family supplied by Hasbro

“Anyone in New Zealand can take part, with a suggested donation of $10 to attend this fun, feel-good evening,” she said.

The fundraiser would help vulnerable families who needed extra support, offered through Parenting Place in local communities around Aotearoa.
