Omakau and Districts Playcentre has finally returned to Ophir.

For the past six months the playcentre has been based at the Poolburn Hall while its Swindon St premises were renovated and extended.

It now has more space and fit-for-purpose elements, including a room where babies can sleep.

To mark the project’s completion, a celebration was hosted at the new-look centre on Sunday afternoon where a bouncy castle, sausage sizzle and tour of the new space were on offer.
