Earnscleugh Station held its 35th annual bull sale of Angus, Hereford and composite bulls, near Alexandra on June 5.
Station co-owner Alistair Campbell said they were happy with the sale outcomes.
The top price for an Angus bull was $15,000.
“We sold 35 Angus bulls at an average of $7343 and the top price of $15,000 was paid by West Wanaka Station,” he said.
There were 19 Hereford bulls sold at an average of $5316. The top-priced bull of $8000 went to Craigney Springs, Morrisons.
Twenty-four composite bulls were sold, with a top price of $11,000, to Burwood Station, Te Anau, at an average of $5500.
