Despite the rise in the Covid-19 traffic light system to Red last month, the music will play on at Central Stories Art Gallery and Museum in Alexandra.

Central Stories board chairman Malcolm McPherson said the remaining events of the summer fundraising season would go ahead with “innovative seating plans”.

The Mundi Trio would appear in Alexandra tomorrow, and Waiata Theatre Productions was due to return on February 12 with another night of music.

Entertainment and an auction planned for February 19 had been postponed until later in the year.

“We’ve been thrilled with the success of our first two events – they’ve exceeded our expectations – and we’re determined to make this great venue work for the next.”
