Historic mansions, old machinery and modern animation techniques were all on offer at the 2019 Lawrence Heritage Day festivities over the weekend. Reporter John Cosgrove went along to capture some of the action.

Historics open . . . Many of Lawrence's historic places and gardens were opened to the public at the Lawrence Heritage day allowing people to see the inside of some of the finer old homes, including the inside of the old courthouse, where Lawrence Heritage Trust member Roger Cotton (left) explains the history and all the work still to be done to preserve this old building to local John Sibley.
