Hospice dinner gets better

Club will get together for the second year on March 27 to raise funds for the Otago community Hospice.

The event will take place thanks to the efforts of volunteer Russell Garbutt and support from Alexandra-based Pioneer Energy.

“Every person I have gone to has said

Otago Community Hospice chief executive Ginny Green said the hospice fundraising target of $2.5million each year relied on the goodwill of the community to ensure free specialist palliative care for anyone in the region who needs it.

The Dinner Club is at The Packing Shed, Earnscleugh and has a three-course meal, welcome Champagne, guest speaker Pallas Hupe Cotter and the auction.

Tickets cost $125 per person.
