Thousands of people of all ages attended Anzac Day services throughout Central Otago last Thursday.
Stories were told, wreaths were laid and the Last Post filled the air at each of the services as people gathered to remember the many soldiers who fought for their country.

Honouring the fallen . . . Last post . . . Shanae Forbes (17), of Roxburgh, played the Last Post during the dawn Anzac service at Roxburgh on Anzac Day. She has been a member of the Roxburgh Pioneer Energy Brass band for about five years and it was the first time she has played the piece in public.
