RSA members, other service organisations and members of the public are invited to the following commemorative services to mark Anzac Day 2022:
Alexandra and Clyde
Please assemble 10 minutes before the service starts.
8am: Wreath laying service at Clyde Memorial
9.30am: Wreath laying service at Alexandra Memorial.
Please note there is no dawn service at the Clyde Lookout or street marches in Clyde or Alexandra.
10am: Service at the Omakau Memorial Hall.
9am: Service at the Cromwell Cemetery.
10am: Service at the Cromwell Cenotaph.
7.30am: Service at Millers Flat Cenotaph.
9am: Service at Roxburgh Cenotaph.
6.30am: Dawn service at the Ranfurly Cenotaph.
10.30am: Wreath laying service at the Kyeburn Cenotaph, followed by a family service.
6:30am: Dawn service at the Memorial Gates, Marine Pde, Queenstown.
This year’s Upper Clutha Anzac services will be reduced to two dawn services.
7am: Dawn service at the Lake Hawea memorial above the dam.
7am: Dawn service in Wanaka on the Roys Bay foreshore, opposite Helwick St.
Due to the Covid outbreak, Wanaka’s Anzac Day service, usually held in the Lake Wanaka Centre, will not proceed.
There will also be no laying of the poppies service at Wanaka’s Cenotaph or the traditional fly past of the Tiger Moth.
