Yoga benefits menopause

Therapeutic yoga offered at Flow Space Yoga and Wellness Centre can help women transition through menopause with a sense of clarity, empowerment, calm, balance and strength.

The physical benefits of therapeutic yoga for menopause are many, but a few are decreased cortisol (stress hormone) levels, increased bone density, regulation of hormones, lowered blood pressure and cholesterol and increased postural strength and integrity.

Emotionally and psychologically, gentle yoga and mindfulness can support your awareness to develop a more positive perspective towards the challenges of menopause and support a sense of balance and calm.

Therapeutic yoga is offered at Flow Space Yoga and Wellness Centre as a private one-to-one service, but in support of menopause awareness look out for a special Yoga for Menopause group class addition to the July timetable!
