Home creativity

A community project called Isolation Creation organised by libraries in Wanaka and Queenstown Lakes is encouraging people to share their creative endeavours while they have been at home. Wanaka assistant librarian Eve Marshall-Lea said the aim was to share art, letters, stories, poetry and photos that represent life in lockdown. ‘‘Our thoughts and different journeys during lockdown will become an important part of the history of our district and we want to help celebrate and record this for future generations to see.’’
The contributions would be collated into a booklet at each library once they reopen, and could also be seen by visiting codc-qldc. govt.nz/blog/isolation-creations
