Gillian Shaw has never felt better.
Mrs Shaw, of Roxburgh, is among the many Central Otago felters preparing for the upcoming Felt Friendz exhibition in Dunedin.
The event, to be hosted at the Dunedin Community Gallery from Tuesday until Sunday next week, will feature exhibits created during and after the Covid-19 lockdown.
Mrs Shaw said there would also be entries from previous WoolOn events, including categorywinning garments and accessories.
The exhibition’s line-up would also include items from the Southern Hemisphere Felting Convergence, which was held in Queenstown in 2019.
Mrs Shaw has joined forces with Ruth Corbett to organise the Felt Friendz exhibition, which is supported by Southern Fun Felters, a group that meets monthly in Cromwell.
‘‘Most members will be exhibiting some of their work along with invited guest artists,’’ Mrs Shaw said.
She encouraged people to visit the exhibition.
‘‘Our aim is to showcase what can be made from felting wool and provide a free activity for the public to view and appreciate our work.’’
The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 4.30pm.
