Roxburgh will ring out to the sounds of Scotland and Ireland at a Celtic Fusion Concert this Saturday.
Band member Alastair Monteath said the night of entertainment was organised as a fundraiser for the Roxburgh Pioneer Energy Brass Band to attend the national contest in 2020.
The night would feature performances by the brass band as well as the Alexandra Pipe Band, Cool Store rock band and many soloists.
Music would celebrate all things Celtic including tunes from The Corrs, Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, popular song Copperhead Road, and tunes such as Highland Cathedral and many more, he said.
There would be Celtic drumming, pipers, drummers, fiddlers, tin whistlers and dancers, plus haggis on the night.
Audience members dressed in their Celtic best are welcome.
The concert takes place at Roxburgh Entertainment Centre on Saturday October 19 from 7.30pm.
Tickets are available at Central Otago Visitor Information Centres and i-Sites or at www.centralotagonz.com
