A feast of events has been on offer this week for the Alexandra Thyme Festival, including a soggy doggy splash at the Molyneaux Aquatic Centre and the Combined Churches Light Party at Pioneer Park.
A new feature this year was the Buskers Festival, which was opened with a performance by Central Otago Mayor Tim Cadogan.
“It is great to see people wandering along the streets, stopping, everyone having a smile and maybe even a laugh, but people seem to be enjoying themselves,” Mr Cadogan said.
Allied Press reporter Pam Jones photographed some of the fun.
